I didn't arrive at this path because I had it figured out. I arrived because I was lost and driven by something I couldn't fully articulate at the time.
Like many of the people I now guide, I was searching. I had spiritual experiences and intellectual frameworks, but my emotional life felt like a foreign country. I could talk about depth but living from depth was another thing entirely. Relationships were hard. Knowing myself was harder. And underneath a lot of capability and genuine seeking, there was a longing I didn't know how to meet.
For eighteen years, I built and ran a successful business in Southern Oregon. On the surface, it worked. I was capable, reliable, someone people trusted. But underneath that competence, there were places in me that hadn't been reached, patterns in my relationships, a quiet gap between who I was in the world and who I sensed I could become.
What changed things for me wasn't a single breakthrough. It was a sustained encounter with a different kind of inner work, one that didn't just help me understand myself, but helped me feel myself. I began to discover that the emotions I'd learned to manage, contain, or work around weren't problems to solve. They were doorways.
Over more than two decades of personal exploration, psychological, somatic, emotive, as well as spiritual and through deep engagement with the Edenity framework and Emotive Body Ensoulment practice, something in me genuinely changed. Not fixed. Changed. More present. More real. More able to be with what's actually alive in me, and in the people I love.
I've sat with grief. Losing loved ones and with the particular loneliness of being highly sensitive in a world that moves fast and can be quite dense and disconnected with the way our protective selves can keep us safe and also keep us small. I began to understand my own emotional body, my protective patterns, and the places where my soul had been waiting, quietly, for me to come home as it.
I know this territory, not just as a guide, but as a fellow traveler who's done the inner work to earn the right to walk alongside you.
What I offer now comes directly from that journey not from a textbook (although I have read many books), but from having done this work on myself, in real relationship, over real time. I know this terrain from the inside. And I know what it's like to take the first uncertain steps toward trusting that something more is possible.
If you're at that threshold, I'd be honored to walk with you.
I've been offering this work for over twenty-five years, and it is, without question, the most meaningful thing I've ever done.
I'm based in Southern Oregon and work with people across the world, online and in person.
“If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you.”
Yeshua from The Gospel of Thomas
The challenges we face give us opportunities to discover what is latent within us. Our souls await our inhabiting of them.
Our relationships invite us to love ourselves and serve the love of the bond more fully.
Our vocations lead us into discoveries of our gifts to be given, limitations in doing so, and strengths to be recognized and emboldened.
Our children call out what is hidden in us and call forth what is best in us to serve their growth and our own.
Each dimension of your life is a place worth exploring to find the treasures that live within the suffering, pain, sorrow, beauty, and joy.
Contact Eric to start a conversation. We can discover over time what your soul is asking for. You'll learn how you can show up more and more as who you really are, and with a little Grace, you might just find yourself becoming what you have most longed for or even better.
